I’ve spent the entire year making things happen that I’ve had on my to-do list for a long time. Some unexpected events have also been checked off the list but they’ve made life a lot more interesting. Twenty twelve is coming to an end and I want to finish off the year just as excitingly as I started it.
I used to write down affirmations otherwise known as oaths to myself and stick them on my walls. I’ve just recently started to do it again. Everyday one new affirmation comes to my mind and I immediately tack it to the wall on a pretty brightly colored Post-It. I’m a firm believer that if you write down your thoughts and aspirations they will come true. It’s all about putting them out there into the world and using your positivity and reassurance everyday to make them happen on your own. It’s not a magical number…if it was I’d be writing down all the number sequences I could think of to win the lottery. Maybe my next one will be “win the lottery!”, I’ll get back to you on how that one goes.
I’ve also recently read the book “Why Men Love Bitches” by Sherry Argov. Not only is this book hilarious but it’s also informative. I like to think that I have all of the answers when it comes to men and relationships, hell of I’ve given enough advice to my friends to prove it (they’re bills are in the mail)! However this book put all of my questions and already known thoughts into perspetive as a whole. I highly reccomend it for anyone with any questions or just wanting a good laugh.
Topshop sweater | Club Monaco jeans and necklace | Zara trench | Ever New boots | Alexander Wang bag | Le Chateau ring
The day I wore this outfit was the first day in a really long time that I felt amazing! I received compliments left right and center. The sun was blazing, I had a well balance meal, I was on the go the entire day and I felt straight up great. When you feel good, you look good right?! This outfit was the perfect run around town outfit. I wore a basic sweater and jeans but added the edge with my new booties (which I’m obsessed with!) and added the trench as the easy coat that ties it all together. The accessories were just the simple throw on at the end. Changing the color of the denim and sweater will change the entire outfit without over thinking.
