Features & Events

Lot’s has been going on and the excitement is on high over here! This past month has been a 2 week whirlwind and March is flying past me, at least it’s been fun. I have a few things on the agenda to share with you guys so make sure you have the next 30 minutes free and this Saturday open on your calendars.

Home On The Runway A Fashionable Life

It’s finally here! The feature I have been the most excited to share with everyone… my home! Honestly, this feature means the world to me. As I’ve mentioned before this is the first home that I have purchased and that’s a big deal in itself but to also have it showcased and designed the way I have always dreamed is a whole other level. A big thank you goes out to everyone involved: Tracey Ayton for her amazing and creative photography skills, Joanna Kado for designing my home based on every inspiration I’ve had and my trusted makeup artist Tamar Taitinger for making me pretty! Last but not least, the biggest thank you to Fanny Zigdon, Editor of Home On The Runway.

On Friday (or Monday), I will be sharing my entire home tour here on the blog including shots that have not been shown on the Home On The Runway features. Stay tuned!

My Northern Light

In the weeks of February I’ve been sharing what my day to day life looks like in the span of only 1 week. Sponsored by General Electric Canada and led by Matchstick Media, this project is brought on to start a conversation between the North and South of Canada. Take a look at what my life is like in Vancouver compared to my partnered blogger Hailey Taylor  from the blog All Of It Or Nunavut from Whale Cove, Nunavut.

Vanity Fair International Best Dressed Challenge

For those that have been following me as of recent you will already know that almost 2 weeks ago I entered myself in the Vanity Fair International Best Dressed Challenge. I entered originally just to see what would happen, a way of getting my looks out there to the masses. What had happened caught me and everyone around me by surprise. Within the first 48 hours my first look hit the top of the most voted list followed by all 5 of my looks in less than 2 weeks making it to the top of the most voted list with a total of 11,569+ votes!

I am so appreviate of everyone that has voted for me. Really. Last week my third look was picked as one of the Editor’s Picks for the week of March 7th. This will now set me in place with 9 others for next month’s Users Choice where the most votes wins $1000 a spot to the grand prize, a trip to NYC with Vanity Fair and a spot in the September Issue.

If you would like to help me on this fashion journey and vote for my looks you can click HERE.

I know it’s a little short notice but I wanna invite you all to the Jac by Jacquline Conoir Spring 14 presentation that I’m hosting at the Jac studio in Vancouver. I’m pretty stoked about it!

It’ll be a relaxed afternoon with the girls talking fashion, sipping on champagne and trying on all the pretty items by JC. It starts at 1pm with a little presentation / fashion show at 1:15pm and the rest of the afternoon to do as we please and well, pretty much shop.  All suits will also be 15% off – pretty great deal!

I would love if you can make it and say a little “Hello!” If you’re not familiar with Jacquline Conoir then this is the time to do it. I’ve been a fan for quite some time and if you’re looking for beautiful and on trend pieces that nobody else will be wearing… then you’ll really be into JC.

Gimme a shout via Twitter at @RandaSalloum if you’re thinking of stopping by. Looking forward to it! xoxo
